[Bug libc/10971] New: configure-script complains about a valid binutils-version

Binutils 2.20, trying to build glibc 2.9.

tells me I need binutils 2.15 or higher, which I have (see configure log below),
but configure still tells me that binutils 2.20 is too old:

We are sorry, you will have to patch configure yourself, 2.9 is not maintained
further; 2.10.2 and newer have this fixed.
