I got things right by including lines === first_weekday 2 first_workday 2 === into LC_TIME section of the sl_SI file (and running locale-gen). I ask you to include the corrected version of the file in future releases of glibc. I have notified the author (jerman-blazic@ijs.si) of the original sl_SI file about the missing information. She agrees with the proposed modification. Legal background: European Norm EN 28601:1992 implements standard ISO 8601, which specifies that the first day of week is monday. Every EU country, including Slovenia, is required to conform to this EN. Usage: All Slovenian calendars I know of use monday as the first day of the week. For example, see http://koledarcek.com. -- Summary: missing info on first day of week in Slovenian (sl_SI) locale Product: glibc Version: unspecified Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: localedata AssignedTo: libc-locales at sources dot redhat dot com ReportedBy: saso dot zivanovic at guest dot arnes dot si CC: glibc-bugs at sources dot redhat dot com http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11987 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
