Steps to reproduce:

{ gdb true; }
run
p ftell
ptype ftell

Actual result:

{<text variable, no debug info>} 0x7ffff7ab3ce0 <_IO_ftell>
int ()

Expected result:

{long (FILE *)} 0x7ffff7ab3ce0 <_IO_ftell>
long (FILE *)

This bug confuses gdb a lot; if you have a file pointer f positioned at
0x400000000, gdb will print 0 for ftell (f).

Workaround: p _IO_ftell (f).
