This is A LOT weaker than the current aim of glibc, which is to provide correct rounding for all transcendental functions despite the fact that IEEE explicitly chose not to require it (just <1ulp error). In my opinion, if there are 3 versions, they should be: 1. Fast: Whatever the gamer/graphics folks want. 2. Default: IEEE-conforming 3.
