             Bug #: 15296
Summary: vpath use in libc/elf/Makefile breaks parallel
                    building of glibc
           Product: glibc
           Version: 2.17
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: libc
        AssignedTo: unassigned@sourceware.org
        ReportedBy: florian@openwrt.org
                CC: drepper.fsp@gmail.com
    Classification: Unclassified

The use of vpath to locate xmalloc.c and xstrdup.c breaks parallel building of
libc/elf/ in the "lib-noranlib" make target:

make[6]: *** No rule to make target `/path/elf/xmalloc.o', needed by
`lib-noranlib'. Stop.
