The ldbl-128 version of log1pl raises a spurious "invalid" exception for a
-qNaN argument.  E.g., for mips64:

testing long double (without inline functions)
Failure: log1p (-qNaN): Exception "Invalid operation" set
Failure: log1p_downward (-qNaN): Exception "Invalid operation" set
Failure: log1p_towardzero (-qNaN): Exception "Invalid operation" set
Failure: log1p_upward (-qNaN): Exception "Invalid operation" set
