            Bug ID: 26615
           Summary: powerpc: libc segfaults when LD_PRELOADed with libgcc
           Product: glibc
           Version: 2.28
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: libc
          Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
          Reporter: rzinsly at linux dot ibm.com
                CC: drepper.fsp at gmail dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

On RHEL 8.2 if you try to run:
$ LD_PRELOAD=/lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 /lib64/libc.so.6
You will get a segmentation fault on powerpc64le, this is due to an
_rtld_global_ro._dl_powerpc_cpu_features access without checking for a
_rtld_global_ro reallocation.
This patch fix the issue:
