            Bug ID: 29609
           Summary: getaddrinfo is missing IPPROTO_MPTCP
           Product: glibc
           Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: nss
          Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
          Reporter: sourceware at isomer dot meta.net.nz
  Target Milestone: ---

Attempting to use IPPROTO_MPTCP with getaddrinfo(3) returns -EAI_SOCKTYPE.

I think this is due to the gaih_inet_typeproto table[0] missing an entry for:

#ifdef IPPROTO_MPTCP
 { SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_MPTCP, 0, false, "tcp" },
#endif

Support for IPPROTO_MPTCP was added in Linux 5.6[1]. It would be nice if
glibc's getaddrinfo also supported it without hacks.
