Thanks. So aside from a syslog-ng (and associated DSOs), kernel or glibc bug...
there could also be a POWER9 emulation bug in qemu-system.

Segfaulting in any DSO is odd (does point to a common-mode fault), and
something you'll have to track down by debugging the exact faulting instruction
and what causes it to fault, why and which mappings are involved in that memory
region.
