I didn't see if anyone replied to this.  First, you'll need to verify
whether or not you can send ANY email from the system.  Gnats uses the
sendmail program to send emails.  If you do not have a "sendmail"
program available, you won't receive email.

If that test is passed, you then need to look into the configuration
files for the gnats database.  Check in these likely places:

	/etc/gnats/db-config/DATABASE/
	/var/lib/gnats/DATABASE/gnats-adm/

Where DATABASE could be the name of your database or "gnats-db" as a
default.

Grep the flat files for the "@" symbol.  You should find some addresses
in in "dbconfig" (such as the reply-to fields).  Also check the
"responsible" file.  These will hold usernames and email addresses for
contacting.  Remember, you always need a gnats-admin person, but you can
assign any email address you want to it.

Read the info docs regarding how to set GNATS up.  They are a wealth of
information.
