We'll migrate to a cleaner autoconf/automake setup in 4.2. It's on the top of my list of things to do. I recommended 2.50 based on an incorrect assumption that Debian ships with 2.50 by default. In fact, I had been using 2.59 where the binary was named autoconf2.50. So, I agree to requiring 2.59. The only library that we need to concentrate on is libiberty, which appears to be supplementary for non-GNU platforms. > > * Should we replace texinfo/texinfo.tex file with a more recent > > version? (Version 4.2?) To clarify, I meant to imply that updates to texinfo.tex would occur in GNATS version 4.2. It will happen, just not yet. --=20 Chad Walstrom http://www.wookimus.net/ assert(expired(knowledge)); /* core dump */ --qlTNgmc+xy1dBmNv Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline Content-length: 189 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD4DBQFBiZ6rDMcLGCBsWv0RAgwdAJ0VOkVptWhzCpM7P1onR5NAM+/HCACYsRSk uInE0Fa1TUr/8+rZJyj+dw== =yx1C -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --qlTNgmc+xy1dBmNv-- --===============0477970449== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Content-length: 140 _______________________________________________ Help-gnats mailing list Help-gnats@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/help-gnats --===============0477970449==--
