Hi,
He's a who...Luca Salvadori. Either way, so far it's been a bust.
Does Gnatsweb need the base gnats package installed first? Do you
use it?

Who or what is Luca? I haven't heard of a wwwgnats which
worked for a long time. Acceptible alternative you ask? Why Gnatsweb
is great if I have to say so myself. See gnatsweb 2.3 available
from:
ftp://ftp.senteinc.com/pub/sente/gnatsweb/

Yes, it's gnatsweb is just a front-end to gnatsd.

Hi Kenneth,
I'm getting the following error when testing...
<root@brigade:/raid5/users/esanborn/gnatsweb-2.3>make test USERNAME=esanborn
PASSWORD=blah DATABASE=db_alias
make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 39: Unexpected end of line seen
Any ideas why?

Yes, it requires
1. gnats be installed
2. gnatsd (gnats network server) be installed and configured
(see .info documentation)
3. you have a web server with Perl 5 and CGI.pm
(comes with perl5.004_04 on my linux system)
I do use it. In fact I wrote it along with another guy.

Thanks! OK. Well, the only reason I am using this other release is 'cause
it
supposedly has good support to work with wwwgnats by Luca. Of course
that doesn't mattr if I can't even get the base package compiled. Is there
an acceptable web front-end to gnats version 3.110?
