It would be a great help to have the QP decoding done before storing the mail (probably could be done as an input filter), and extra mime parts handled in some reasonable way. Certainly attachments should be kept around (perhaps as separate files), I'm less sure about multipart/alternative stuff. Many years ago, when MIME use was fairly new, I would've considered this a missing but non-essential feature. These days, I consider it a serious obstacle to deal with. For help, please send mail to the webmaster (email withheld), giving this error message and the time and date of the error. the line after changes. I have looked thru the source and line 478 is in the decode_attachement subprocedure, but I don't understand perl well enough to know why I am getting that error. I have also tried different versions of gnatsweb and have the same problem. query_pr does work. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: >>From pdm-test@zamazal.org Tue Feb 06 03:04:00 2001 From: pdm-test@zamazal.org To: gnats-gnats@sourceware.cygnus.com Cc: pdm-cc@zamazal.org Subject: spam/141: My test Date: Tue, 06 Feb 2001 03:04:00 -0000 Message-id: <20010206110301.22127.qmail@sourceware.cygnus.com> X-SW-Source: 2001-q1/msg00019.html Content-length: 503 >Number: 141 >Category: spam >Synopsis: My test >Confidential: no >Severity: serious >Priority: medium >Responsible: nobody >State: open >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: net >Arrival-Date: Tue Feb 06 03:04:00 PST 2001 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: Milan Zamazal >Release: unknown-1.0 >Organization: >Environment: >Description: I want to have my own test! >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: >>From pdm@zamazal.org Tue Feb 06 03:44:00 2001 From: pdm@zamazal.org To: nobody@sourceware.cygnus.com Cc: gnats-prs@sourceware.cygnus.com Subject: Re: spam/141 Date: Tue, 06 Feb 2001 03:44:00 -0000 Message-id: <20010206114401.30749.qmail@sourceware.cygnus.com> X-SW-Source: 2001-q1/msg00020.html Content-length: 537 The following reply was made to PR spam/141; it has been noted by GNATS. The problem was not there when the same program is compiled using a different compiler. The GCC version is 2.7.2 Compile and link with no errors. Description of the problem: When a class has a data member that is an array of another class (composition), the memory is reserved on the stack instead of heap when the class is constructed. The size of the memory is equal to the size of the array * size of the class which is larger than the stack size. As I understand that the data members that declared in the class header file will live in the heap, and stack is a working storage for the task which backs up the register values and addresses if the interrupt occurs. When the class is instantiated, stack should be empty. Your help will be appreciated. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: >>From tromey@redhat.com Wed Feb 07 12:44:00 2001 From: tromey@redhat.com To: gnats-gnats@sourceware.cygnus.com Subject: gnats/143: gnats doesn't forward all replies to the right list Date: Wed, 07 Feb 2001 12:44:00 -0000 Message-id: <20010207204340.6758.qmail@sourceware.cygnus.com> X-SW-Source: 2001-q1/msg00022.html Content-length: 950 >Number: 143 >Category: gnats >Synopsis: gnats doesn't forward all replies to the right list >Confidential: no >Severity: serious >Priority: medium >Responsible: unassigned >State: open >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: net >Arrival-Date: Wed Feb 07 12:44:00 PST 2001 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: Tom Tromey >Release: unknown-1.0 >Organization: >Environment: >Description: The GCC project actually has a number of semi-independent sub-projects. One of these, the Java project, would like to get all their PR traffic sent to a special mailing list, java-prs. Right now we can get notification of new PRs sent to java-prs via the categories file. However, responses and updates to these PRs are not sent to java-prs. I couldn't find a way to make this happen. I think this would be a useful feature. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: >>From cash@rsn.hp.com Tue Feb 13 16:24:00 2001 From: cash@rsn.hp.com To: gnats-gnats@sourceware.cygnus.com Cc: tylerb@rsn.hp.com, bolding@rsn.hp.com Subject: gnats/144: PRs with attachments created by gnatsweb cannot be edited Date: Tue, 13 Feb 2001 16:24:00 -0000 Message-id: <20010214002258.28869.qmail@sourceware.cygnus.com> X-SW-Source: 2001-q1/msg00023.html Content-length: 846 >Number: 144 >Category: gnats >Synopsis: PRs with attachments created by gnatsweb cannot be edited >Confidential: no >Severity: critical >Priority: medium >Responsible: unassigned >State: open >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: net >Arrival-Date: Tue Feb 13 16:24:00 PST 2001 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: cash@rsn.hp.com >Release: gnats version: 3.113 gnatsweb version:1.35 >Organization: >Environment: HP-UX >Description: When an attempt is made to edit a PR that was created via gnatsweb and that contains a file attachment, an error message is returned: Software error: Modification of a read-only value attempted at /web/apache/httpdocs/psal/PQ/cgi-bin/gnatsweb.pl line 487, line 126. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
