It has been replaced by xinetd.conf and its difficulty... I wrote a file named "support" in /etc/xinetd.d/ which contains: service support{ socket_type=stream protocol=tcp wait=no user=gnats server=/usr/local/libexec/gnats/gnatsd server_args=gnatsd } Of course, I wrote the needed line in /etc/services with the port 1529.
