compile error...

compile error...

When I compiled the library 0.6, the following 
error message appeared.
I'd like to install the library in my home directory of the 
linux server Redhat5.2/i586 PC.
The server has gsl-0.3b-4, but I want to install the new 
version.
I had no error when I configured like this.
configure --prefix=$HOME/lib

Try running the final command manually and seeing what error it
gives. Maybe your compiler is crashing or running out of memory.
Sometimes this happens, depending on the version of the compiler. The
source code itself is ok.
