 Hi everybody, 

 I am using gsl_histogram and I noticed I have only
the declaration of gsl_histogram_mean and
gsl_histogram_sigma, but no actual implementation. 

 I downloaded the sources from 

ftp://mirrors.rcn.net/pub/sourceware/gsl/

 Does the C code exist somewhere?

 From examining the code, it appears that sampling from pdf's is 
only valid for uniform histograms. Can anyone verify this?

It should work for histograms with non-uniform bin sizes.  If there is
a discrepancy between the code and documentation let me know.
