Subject: gsl-0.8 on HPUX
Date: Wed, 19 Dec 2001 13:20:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <200105291054.f4TAsok23975@shin.connect.liv.ac.uk> (raw)
I 've compiled gsl-.8 successfully on HPUX-11.00 and 10.20.
Everything was all right apart from one small problem :
In "configure" file there is a test for HPUX-11.00 and other versions of HPUX
That doesn't work :
> *-*-hpux11)
> *-*-hpux*)
I 've changed the above tests to :
< *-*-hpux11.*)
< *-*-hpux10.*)
I know; you may argue that does only test Version 10 and 11.
Since I have n't got any HPUX 9.* boxes I can 't make any comment on that .
But in here (HPUX Archive and porting Center) We don't support any version prior
to 10.20.
I 've installed the binary for gsl in :
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gnu
Thanks
