Brian Gough <brian.gough@network-theory.co.uk> responds to my report
of failures of the linalg/herm test on DEC Alpha OSF/1 4.0 with
gcc-2.95.3:

I've just done a rebuild using gcc-3.0.1 on that system: all 62,678
tests pass, with zero failures.
