Yes, that true, probably because there is no real documentation
yet. :-(
 
Alex Stark has done some excellent work on guile-gtk examples for the
Gtk+ tutorial:

    http://www2.eng.cam.ac.uk/~jas/misc/gg-tutorial.tar.gz

You can also look at some of the applications that use guile-gtk.
