    It seems to me that you are having problems with command-line GDB also (from the looks of your output). Therefore, please submit this to the GDB bug database: you're likely to get answers much faster than from me (since I am the only one who monitors the insight bug database). [Great bug report, though! Much better than the "this doesn't work" reports that I usually get.]
