Please seek a more appropriate forum for finding solutions to your linux problems. (See, for example, Red Hat Support or do a search on Google Groups.)

This bug had ocured during installation
of Red Hat Linux

>How-To-Repeat:
I have partitioned my 20 GB HDD
in the following way

1) Make a partition
of 518MB using microsoft's fdisk utility

2) reboot the system

3) Make a primary partition of +512M using
Linux fdisk

4)Make another primary partition of +300M
using red hat linux's fdisk

5) Make extended partition from remaining space
   using microsoft's fdisk

   1st logical drive = 6283M
   2nd logical drive = 6275M
   3rd logical drive = 5193M

6) reboot the system

7) delete 3rd logical drive using
   microsoft fdisk

9) reboot using linux CD

10) create following partitions

    /home = +900M
    /var = +384M
    /tmp = +256M
    /usr = remaining

11 ) follow steps on the screen

Now as soon as you select packages for installation
suddenly a widoe appears with the code written above
