    The problem you are seeing is in dejagnu. Please submit bug report to proper place. See src/MAINTIANERS.
    
    FWIW, a workaround: delete the dejagnu source direcctory and  it will work. I've heard rumors that someone is going to fix this, but I guess it hasn't been done yet. Sigh. Sorry.
