From: bachi@te-clan.ch To: insight-gnats@sources.redhat.com Subject: insight/285: Running insight with SunOS 5.8: Can't find a usable itk.tcl Date: Tue, 03 Jan 2006 11:03:00 -0000 [thread overview] Message-ID: <20060103105300.30044.qmail@sourceware.org> (raw) >Number: 285 >Category: insight >Synopsis: Running insight with SunOS 5.8: Can't find a usable itk.tcl >Confidential: no >Severity: non-critical >Priority: medium >Responsible: unassigned >State: open >Class: sw-bug >Submitter-Id: net >Arrival-Date: Tue Jan 03 11:03:01 GMT 2006 >Closed-Date: >Last-Modified: >Originator: bachi@te-clan.ch >Release: SunOS 5.8 >Organization: >Environment: GNU binaries and libraries, Openwin and x.org libraries >Description: When I would like to run insight, the following error occure: Itk_Init failed: Can't find a usable itk.tcl in the following directories: /home/szhbqn/lib/itk3.2 /home/szhbqn/insight-6.4/bin/../lib/itk3.2 /home/szhbqn/insight-6.4/bin/../library /home/szhbqn/insight-6.4/bin/../../library /home/szhbqn/insight-6.4/bin/../../itk/library This probably means that Itcl/Itk weren't installed properly. If you know where the Itk library directory was installed, you can set the environment variable ITK_LIBRARY to point to the library directory. When I set the environment variable ITK_LIBRARY to /home/szhbqn/insight-6.4/share/itk3.2 where the itk.tcl is, insight crashes too, but without error. Insight in another environment (FreeBSD 5.3) is working good! >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
