Mac OS X 10.4.10, i386-apple-darwin8.10.1

I tried to build insight on Mac OS X 10.4.10 by using the usual ./configure, make, sudo make install. However, there does not seem to be an executable insight and I cannot see anything in the logs, what goes wrong.
