Subject: "run" executable
Date: Thu, 22 Jun 2000 08:46:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <14674.13502.720582.51425@denmark.blueskystudios.com> (raw)
I recently built and installed insight-5.0 on Irix - everything went
smoothly, and it's working great.
Later, however, someone started complaining that a widely-used local script
called "run" started not working.
After a little investigation it turned out he was picking up the "run"
installed along with Insight - rearranging his path fixed the prob. But
the question remains - what exactly is "run"? I found it in sim/mips, but
what is it?
Maybe it would be a good idea for it to have a slightly more unique name?
Thanks,
