That means that distributing the sources from the insight 6.8 tarball along with an insight binary that uses any cgen-generated code does not fulfill the requirements of the GPL. I've looked in the sourceware cvs repository, and even for core gdb files that are included in the insight 6.8 release, the latest insight tag is insight_6_6-20070208-release; I couldn't find any tag for the insight 6.7.1 nor the insight 6.8 release.
