Subject: RFC/RFA: Save Preferences (on Registers window)?
Date: Thu, 08 Jun 2000 12:47:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <393FF807.6487DA70@cygnus.com> (raw)

If for some reason your Registers windows do not get closed properly,
all your settings are lost.

Yes, I know, it should never happen... But lets be pragmatic, it does
happen sometimes. And I hate when I have to get everything the way I like
again.

There is a trick, which is close and reopen the register window, that I do
often, so often that I would like to have a menu entry "Save Preferences"
in the Register menu.

Here is the patch.
