Hello,
I would be really happy if you could help me with
finding the insight 6.4 (corresponding to GDB 6.4) with binary files in
an RPM format. Indeed I get the sources from various places but
compiling and linking them give me problems and head aches....

I'm afraid I don't have an RPM. I just use the snapshots and build them.
If you're on linux, it should be a breeze as long as you have a few
dependencies installed. The source tree is quite contained.
I don't know how SUSE 10.1 and FC4 compare, but if they are similar, I
could just bundle up my build and send it to you or something.
I've always wanted to make an RPM, but there's always been little
problems in the way. I need to redo some of the configury to allow
external tcl/tk/itcl, e.g. (Others have offered to help, but nothing
seems to have come of it.)
Keith
