Hi,

I want to try Insight/GDB on Windows 2000. The code I downloaded requires compiling first. How do I compile in Windows 2000? Or better yet, can I just get the already compiled executables for Windows 2000? Thanks.

  Yes, you can get precompiled insight (along with the rest of the binutils and
gcc) as part of the Cygwin package.  Go to http://cygwin.com for more
information; it's an entire unix/linux/posix environment for windows, with
shells and all the *nix command line tools.

  Note that you install cygwin packages directly from the net
(http://cygwin.com/setup.exe), and that insight and the other tools aren't part
of the default install: you need to select them under the 'Devel' category of
packages.
