I don't think "before we switch to git" should be a relevant consideration
for any change to the contents of the source tree (all the libgcj files in
SVN should be included in the git repository just like all the other
history of all the branches in the repository - while I think there should
be a fresh conversion to git, I don't think we should take the opportunity
to remove anything from the history).
