From: "vektor at dumbterm dot net" <gcc-bugzilla@gcc.gnu.org> To: java-prs@gcc.gnu.org Subject: [Bug java/20526] New: gij -X reports no options are recognized, while -Xmx and -Xms seem to be Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 13:59:00 -0000 [thread overview] Message-ID: <20050317234808.20526.vektor@dumbterm.net> (raw) gij (GNU libgcj) version 4.0.0 20050314 (Red Hat 4.0.0-0.34) When I run 'gij --help' it lists that -X will tell me supported -X options. It also lists the --ms= and --mx= parameters. gij -X says: gij: currently no -X options are recognized I have seen others on IRC use -Xmx512M and -Xms96M or what not. This leads me to believe that these -X options are actually supported. It would be very help (if this were the case) for the tool to list these in the command line help. -- Summary: gij -X reports no options are recognized, while -Xmx and -Xms seem to be Product: gcc Version: 4.0.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: java AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org ReportedBy: vektor at dumbterm dot net CC: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org,java-prs at gcc dot gnu dot org http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20526
