Since the classpath merge, I have noticed that the source->bytecode stage of the
libgcj build is not being paralellized.

This warning was also seen:

make[4]: Entering directory
`/home/mckinlay/cvs/gcc/build-x86_64/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/libjava/classpath/lib
make[4]: warning: jobserver unavailable: using -j1.  Add `+' to parent make rule.
