I'm fairly certain it doesn't break x86 GNU/Linux. For me, the change fixes the PR. There are still 10 fails in the testsuite on hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11. Four are expected because large file support is not enabled. I don't believe the other fails have anything to do with this PR. I checked that the duplicates are gone in org-xml.s. gcj-dbtool now runs successfully. The testsuite on hppa-unknown-linux-gnu is still clean. There are no ABI version failures.
