I am trying to build gcj without using gtk as the awt peer. However, even if I
specify --enable-java-awt=qt, --enable-java-awt=xlib or even
--enable-java-awt=no configure still dies saying I don't have pango installed:
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking for pangoft2... Package pangoft2 was not found in the pkg-config
search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `pangoft2.pc' to
the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'pangoft2' found
configure: error: Library requirements (pangoft2) not met; consider adjusting
the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard
prefix so pkg-config can find them.
