I would like to try by myself but I'm getting the following error when I try to build classpath-0961-import-branch:

checking for stdint types... stdint.h (shortcircuit)
make use of stdint.h in include/config-int.h (assuming C99 compatible system)
checking if /root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/gcc/gcj -B/root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/i686-pc-linux-gnu/libjava/ -B/root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/gcc/ -C works... configure: error: The Java compiler /root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/gcc/gcj -B/root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/i686-pc-linux-gnu/libjava/ -B/root/partizione/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer/gcc/ -C failed (see config.log, check the CLASSPATH?)
configure: error: ../../../../libjava/classpath/configure failed for classpath
make[1]: *** [configure-target-libjava] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/media/disk/classpath-0961-import-branch/peer'

Anyone knows what could be the problem here?

I've tried looking at config.log but I couldn't find anything useful.

Based on the release dates, I would say yes.
I haven't tried it myself though.

AWT/SWING classpath examples freezing and not responding to window events

Hi guys,

I'm having some troubles when running AWT/SWING classpath examples.
These examples freeze and crash as soon as any event is triggered (clicking on a button or even trying to resize the window).

I'm doing this with gcj 4.3.0 on arm-linux and gcj 4.2.3 on x86.

Googling around I found this:

Seems to be the same bug. They say that examples are working ok with icedtea and should be fixed in classpath upstream.

Any thoughts on this?

I read a message in java-patches mailing list about merging classpath 0.97.2, maybe this will fix the problem?
