Subject: [RFC] jit: reintroduce pkgconfig support
Date: Thu, 23 Sep 2021 13:20:17 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CALOPqWwFXTRgJ_CsHRzMMocmY=Yw4VdQMrv+1p-TD1N3YOSDZA@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hi,
Currently libgccjit has no pkg-config support, this makes using it from
build systems such as cmake or meson cumbersome as pkg-config is their main
method of dependency detection. I saw that support was removed back in 2014
due to it being "*controversial". *Was this due to the library being
relatively new at the time or some other reason? Would a patch to
reintroduce it be welcome?
Regards,
Elliot.
