Libabigail should provide a way to suppress change reports about types,
functions and variables based on their source locations.

The syntax in suppression file would look like:

[suppress_type]
  # If the type is declared in a header file of
  # the libfoo library then it's OK.
  source_location_regexp = libfoo/.*\.h

This feature was implemented in the master branch, and should be available
starting from commit
https://sourceware.org/git/gitweb.cgi?p=libabigail.git;a=commit;h=16299395d738f544640c3f9dca9fd3653d93af0d.

Documentation has been updated on the website, too.

Look at
https://sourceware.org/libabigail/manual/libabigail-concepts.html#suppress-type,
and look for "source_location_not_in" and "source_location_not_regexp".
