One more thing:
Prefixing error messages such as this with the program name "abidiff: " would
be good. When I'm looking through a large build/test log, without the program
name, it can be difficult to even figure out what part of the build spat out
the message.

This should be fixed in the master branch of the git repository, by commit

FWIW, here is what I am getting on the command line you typed in your first
comment:
$ abidiff --changed-funcions dump1 dump2
abidiff: unrecognized option: --changed-funcions
try the --help option for more information
$
In subsequent commits in the master branch, I extend this change to the other
libabigail tools.

There is a typo in the option name.
It would be nice if abidiff (and other tools) were to show the offending
option. If there are several, it's tedious to have to figure out which one has
the typo. That's especially true if the options aren't visible directly, such
as when a script is used to cobble together the command line.
