Subject: sunrpc and rpcgen code

The current glibc library includes a version of the sunrpc (a.k.a oncrpc)
rpc library, and the 'rpcgen' utility, used to translate ".x" files
into rpc clients/server stubs. I recall a few years ago, there were some
discussions about splitting those components from glibc into separate
packages.
Checking if those plans are still being worked on. if yes, is there a
target ? is there a replacement package ?
