It seems that Chuvash Latin script actually does exist [1] but probably is not
widely used. The current (Latin) Chuvash locale has been added as a resolution
for bug 10824 and was appreciated on Ubuntu Launchpad. [2] I'm adding the
original author to CC, I hope he's reading and is able to provide the
explanation.

For now I lean to rename the current locale to cv_RU@latin and accept this new
one as the proper default Cyrillic version.
