Subject: [Bug localedata/23152] New: gd_GB: Fix typo in "May" (abbreviated)
Date: Wed, 09 May 2018 10:32:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-23152-716@http.sourceware.org/bugzilla/> (raw)
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=23152
Bug ID: 23152
Summary: gd_GB: Fix typo in "May" (abbreviated)
Product: glibc
Version: 2.27
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: localedata
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: digitalfreak at lingonborough dot com
CC: libc-locales at sourceware dot org
Target Milestone: ---
While importing some locale data from CLDR I noticed a typo in gd_GB (Scottish
Gaelic) abbreviated name of the month May: it is provided in glibc as "Mhàrt"
while CLDR provides "Cèit". "Mhàrt" seems to be a name of March, a nominative
case.
How to test:
$ LC_ALL=gd_GB.utf8 locale -k mon abmon alt_mon
mon="dhen Fhaoilleach;dhen Ghearran;dhen Mhàrt;dhen Ghiblean;dhen Chèitean;dhen
Ògmhios;dhen Iuchar;dhen Lùnastal;dhen t-Sultain;dhen Dàmhair;dhen
t-Samhain;dhen Dùbhlachd"
abmon="Faoi;Gearr;Màrt;Gibl;Mhàrt;Ògmh;Iuch;Lùna;Sult;Dàmh;Samh;Dùbh"
alt_mon="Am Faoilleach;An Gearran;Am Màrt;An Giblean;An Cèitean;An t-Ògmhios;An
t-Iuchar;An Lùnastal;An t-Sultain;An Dàmhair;An t-Samhain;An Dùbhlachd"
