Hi Everyone,
libffi 3.3 and above is having trouble Debian PowerPC builds. It looks
like the issue is related to a M4 macro being used. The M4 macro
generates code for the build machine and not the host the code will
run on. See https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=995223
and https://github.com/libffi/libffi/issues/662. There's also a few
mailing list messages. See, for example,
https://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2021/09/msg00030.html and
https://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2021/10/msg00108.html.
Would someone be able to look at the issue and advise, please.
Thanks in advance.
