This was known, but that way now it fails on classpath :(
Besides this, it produces the same results. I think our implementation
is better in that it stores the original patter the user passed in. The
jdk just removes the extra ' and quotes everything from the first to the
last ' (the reason why it leaves the 3 ''' at the end of the string, is
because the last two are needed to quote the character ' itself, the
first signals the end of the special characters to quote).
