Just for reference, this bug in GCC was fixed by:

__ARM_FP macro.
gcc/testsuite/:
* gcc.target/arm/macro_defs0.c: New test.
* gcc.target/arm/macro_defs1.c: New test.
* gcc.target/arm/macro_defs2.c: New test.
