Can I have execute permission on upx, to decompress / recompress
setup.exe binaries?

Thanks,
Rob

bash2-2.05a$ ls -l `which upx`
-rwx--x--x 1 root cygnus 251331 May 12 2002
/usr/local/bin/upx
bash2-2.05a$

You have execute permission. Apparently the binary was upx compressed and so
needed read compression. I've just uncompressed it and it now seems to work
ok.
