I deleted three lock files from /cvs/src/src/gdb owned by irox. There
were no processes owned by irox running, and the lock files had been
there for four hours.

Wow, this is starting to sound kind of (new hardware) spooky. I
don't think anyone has (new hardware) changed the cvs server
recently, so it isn't like a new (new hardware) bug was introduced.
I guess we'll have to set up a script like Ian was suggesting (new
hardware) and how common this is. If it's not a software problem,
I can't imagine what it (new hardware) could be caused by.
Jason :-)
