I used to be able to login, so I can scp automake releases into ~ftp. The last time it worked for me was on 2004-05-23 when I uploaded automake-1.8b. It does not work today, apparently I'm coerced into using the cvs server. I've seen a discussion on that list in early June about removing login rights, but it's not clear to me if an alternative way to make FTP uploads has been setup. If that is not the case, could someone allow me to login? I'm currently the only person making automake uploads, and I need the account only for this purpose and occasional `chmod +x' in the automake CVS repository. % ssh -v adl@sources.redhat.com OpenSSH_3.8.1p1 Debian 1:3.8.1p1-5, OpenSSL 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004 debug1: Reading configuration data /home/adl/.ssh/config debug1: Applying options for sources.redhat.com debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: Connecting to sources.redhat.com [12.107.209.250] port 22. debug1: Connection established. debug1: identity file /home/adl/.ssh/phobos/identity type 0 debug1: Remote protocol version 1.99, remote software version OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 debug1: match: OpenSSH_3.6.1p2 pat OpenSSH* debug1: Local version string SSH-1.5-OpenSSH_3.8.1p1 Debian 1:3.8.1p1-5 debug1: Waiting for server public key. debug1: Received server public key (768 bits) and host key (1024 bits). debug1: Host 'sources.redhat.com' is known and matches the RSA1 host key. debug1: Found key in /home/adl/.ssh/known_hosts:3 debug1: Encryption type: 3des debug1: Sent encrypted session key. debug1: Installing crc compensation attack detector. debug1: Received encrypted confirmation. debug1: RSA authentication using agent refused. debug1: Trying RSA authentication with key '/home/adl/.ssh/phobos/identity' debug1: Remote: Port forwarding disabled. debug1: Remote: X11 forwarding disabled. debug1: Remote: Agent forwarding disabled. debug1: Remote: Forced command: /usr/local/bin/cvs server debug1: Received RSA challenge from server. debug1: Sending response to host key RSA challenge. debug1: Remote: RSA authentication accepted. debug1: RSA authentication accepted by server. debug1: Requesting pty. debug1: Requesting shell. debug1: Entering interactive session. ^d E cvs server: Dying gasps received from client.
