To help facilitate future CVS fixes, I installed the official Red Hat
version of CVS on sourceware yesterday. That had the unintended
side-effect of causing some people (like me) to use the /usr/bin/cvs
version of CVS for checkins rather than the /usr/local/bin/cvs version.
So, this will invalidate the CVS/fileattr file.
I've removed /usr/bin/cvs so that this should not be an issue any further
but if we start seeing people complain about this problem, that's why.
I was dutifully checking out versions of gdb using ssh yesterday with no
problem. It was only when I switched to pserver (after a cryptic user
complaint) that I noticed the problem.
