Looking at the HTML that mnogosearch produces, those links are of the
form: href="?m=all&q=borken&ul=/ml/gcc/%25&wm=wrd&s=DRP" I
believe this is reasonably standard, and does expand to
"http://gcc.gnu.org/cgi-bin/search.cgi?...." on e.g. firefox.

As a point of interest in case it happens to be relevant, a website I am
responsible for elsewhere uses URLs that are not dissimilar, and we have
recorded a lot of incorrect requests in the logs. The common factor
between most of them was the client being IE 7.0 beta. If you are using
IE7, I recommend downgrading - it appears to be buggy.
