For the past few days, I haven't been able to access the GCC repository:
dave@mx3210:~/gnu/gcc/gcc$ contrib/gcc_update
Updating SVN tree
Updating '.':
svn: E210002: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'svn://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/trunk'
svn: E210002: Network connection closed unexpectedly
Adjusting file timestamps
SVN update of full tree failed.
Access using `http:' is very slow and times out:
A libsanitizer/asan/asan_malloc_win.cc
svn: E000238: Error retrieving REPORT: Connection timed out
This happens using different systems and subversion versions. Access `with svn+ssh: '
still works.
Is there a firewall problem?

No, just a general system load problem. Stick with svn+ssh as we work through it.
